Shanghai International Creative Industry Week (SICIW) held from 15-21 Oct 2009 is highly regarded internationally as a comprehensive platform to promote creative industries.

SICIW is a city-sponsored and endorsed event that will be a week-long celebration of all things design from architecture, interiors, fashion to graphic design. SICIW has been held annually since 2005 and has attracted over 400,000 visitors, of which 60 per cent have been industry professionals, government officials and VIP guests. Exhibitors from more than 30 countries have showcased their products during this week long expo. It has achieved acclaim and the status as one of Shanghai's most influential creative events.

The exhibition theme "Architecture & Urban Space" makes room for a broad view on Dutch Design. Thus The Netherlands present themselves from design from landscape architecture via signage and playground equipment, security equipment.
